the District 7 championship on July 16 with a 12-0 victory over Madison

League.
Congratulations to the 10&11yr old Toccoa team for winning the District 7 Title!!

Here are a few things we are doing to get ready for opening day. Sunday
March 21st @2:30 p.m. Randy Chappalear will give a class for anyone who wants
to learn how to keep the score books. This will not last long and it will give
more people a knowledge of how to do this. Keeping the score books is not hard
to do and Randy will be teach you how to do this with confidence. This class
will be at the Little League hut (building at bottom of hill on
right).
Thursday March 25th @ 5:30 p.m. We will be having a work
day at Doyle Street ball fields.. We will be getting the fields, stands and
the grounds ready for opening day. We need everyone that can to be there and
help. There will be someone at every field that knows what to do and will
assign you something to do.
Friday March 26th This is our parade date
and all the players, managers and coaches will meet at the Doyle St. swimming
pool parking lot at 6 p.m. and leave at 6:30 p.m. for field #2. Every team
will be announced and will go out on the field. This is a great time for the
players and coaches to be recognized. PLEASE WEAR YOUR UNIFORMS.

March 27th This is opening day of our new season, everyone have fun

VOLUNTEERS
Welcome Toccoa Little League parents to the 2010 baseball and softball
season! I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how much
volunteers mean to the Toccoa Little League Organization. Volunteers are the heart and soul of our Toccoa Little League Organization.
Without you, we could not function properly. Please take the time during sign
ups and read over the volunteer forms and decide which area suits you best.
Concessions are a large part of our organizations profit which in
return benefits our kids. So please sign up to volunteer in
concessions. Your help is appreciated and I look forward to serving you as
Auxiliary President for the 2010 season.
