It’s official. Ethan Martin is officially a
Los Angeles Dodger. The Stephens county high right-hander signed an agreement
Thursday with the California baseball team.
According to Dodgers.com Martin’s signing
bonus is said to be $1.73 million. In the report, Dodgers Manager, Joe Torre is
quoted as saying, after watching Martin during batting practice Thursday, he
asked Martin if he wants to play third base. While playing for the Indians,
Martin mainly pitched, though he did also play third base. 19-year-old Martin
was the 15th overall draft pick.
